About Us

Jerry Foley has been designing and building Street Rods for over 20 years. He started  life as a designer/draftsman/machinist back in the olden days. His love of custom automobiles drew him from the corporate world into the rod shop working for Roy Brizio, where he honed his skills as a Master Fabricator. In 1991, Jerry founded Foley Bros. Custom Works, bringing his street rod expertise home to Redwood City, CA.

Jerry became interested in GroundHawg products in 2000 when he found the product to be an excellent addition to his street rod projects. Foley Bros. acquired GroundHawg Industries in 2001, and has since worked to improve the designs. Today many of his projects utilize GroundHawg independent front suspension, and GroundHawg kits continue to be available to rod builders across the country.
